Accurate Price. Not a Ballpark Quote
Our Inco Cost Estimator utilizes unit pricing from past projects to accurately forecast future expenses. By breaking the steel building project into discrete, measurable units, we provide precise, data-driven budgeting.
- Unlike a broad square-foot average, our unit-pricing method provides a detailed, customized budget for your steel building project.
- Don’t rely on ballpark averages. Our unit pricing method uses precise, past-project data to forecast your exact costs.
How The Inco Cost Estimator Works
- Data Derivation: The calculator utilizes historical data, such as material costs, labor hours, and machinery expenses from past projects, to establish a reliable average price per unit.
- Application: Prospective customers input project dimensions (e.g., total square footage) into the calculator, which multiplies these quantities by the historical unit cost to generate an estimated budget.
- Components: The unit price generally includes all costs for that specific task: materials, labor, equipment, and a markup for overhead and profit.
- Scope Flexibility: Â method is highly effective for projects with unknown total quantities, as additional units can be added to the project scope and calculated individually
Transparent, Open-Book Costs Estimator
- Our Inco Cost Estimator provides itemized component costs for direct comparison with competing bids.

Budgeting: Unit Pricing Verses Square Foot Estimation
- Unit pricing is similar to square-foot estimation, but far more precise; it breaks down costs by component rather than applying a general average.
- While both use historical data, unit pricing goes beyond square-foot metrics to provide a detailed, accurate budget

Inco Cost Estimatorâ„¢ 2.0 | METAL BUILDING BUYERâ„¢ 2.0
The Cost Estimator, owned and developed by Inco Steel Buildings, Inc, provides an estimation of the metal building price before the discount price is issued. Cost Estimator does not provide the final sales price since each county charges different rates for sales taxes and building permits. The price displayed is transparent, close, and realistic price based on factual prices. The cost of a metal building is affected by a number of factors, primarily the building design, its engineering requirements, its foundation system including slab thickness, the conditions of the building site, the topography, the soil conditions, and the soil bearing capacity, the county location in North Carolina, as well as the products and materials chosen by the customer. It is important to note that building permits, shipping fees, and sales tax are not included. Taxes and shipping fees will be added after the sales order is complete, and the jobsite inspection for delivery has been verified. Permit fees and filing fees are paid by Inco, and reimbursement to Inco is made by the customer upon invoice presentation.
