Land Rezoning Verification by the Property Owner
A land rezoning verification should be conducted by the property owners before planning construction activities to verify any zoning restrictions.
A land rezoning verification will confirm permitted land uses, reveal land restrictions, avoid project stalls, and streamline the building permits process. The landowner should request a Zoning Verification Letter (ZVL).
When needed, and before Inco Steel Buildings, Inc files the construction permit application, the customer must apply for and be granted rezoning of the property.
Rezoning changes a property’s designated use (such as residential to commercial) or density, allowing for different forms of development than is permitted currently. Local government must approve applications, conduct public hearings for new projects in order to adjust to community needs or new developments.
