- Estimate for a turnkey, move-in ready, 100% complete Barndominium.
- Estimate for a shell-only barndominum with framed walls, with the customer finishing the interior build-out work themselves.
Appraisal Quality Q1, Q2 or Q3 | Barndominium Estimate
Choosing the right quality level for building a home involves balancing budgets with long-term maintenance, comfort, and resale value. New construction quality is rated on a standardized UAD scale from Q1 (highest) to Q6 (lowest), used by appraisers to define materials, craftsmanship, and design.
New construction quality is generally rated on a scale from Q1 (highest) to Q3, Q4, Q5 and Q6. Q1/Q2 represent custom/luxury homes, Q3/Q4 cover standard to above-average builder-grade, while Q5/Q6 indicate economy or substandard, low-cost construction.

Builder Grade (Standard/Tract): This is the entry-level for new construction homebuilding, designed for functionality and cost-efficiency.
