Engineered by a structural engineer, this RV carport is constructed with steel roof trusses, 26-gauge metal roofing panels, and 8x8 PT SG posts buried six to eight feet deep and encased in 24" diameter of 3000 PSI concrete.

The lateral bracing consists of 6×6 and 2×8 perlins with 2×6 SPF structural guards. Bracing is attached using hot-dip galvanized 1/2″, and 5/8″ hex bolts, nuts, and washers. Simpson Strong-Tie hot-dip galvanized strap plates tie all braces and post.

On all roof edges and sides, eave trim is installed, while commercial grade gutters and downspouts are optional.
